Journey to Jesus, which details every step of doubt, derision, ridicule, hurt, pain, disappointment and elation as I sought the truth about God's existence and Jesus salvation, started out with me trying to prove to Mervyn Hennesey, a friend that this whole Bible inspired tale was nothing bt a fairytale and fib concocted by goat herders with too much time on their hands. I was utterly convinced that he would lose the dare he issued when he encouraged me to read scripture AGAIN as an adult and to pray before and after I did so. The year was 1992 and we were in Johannesburg. The strangest things started happening to me; dreams, visions, visitations and revelations I thought were hocus pocus burst into my consciousness as the God of Heaven revealed aspects of His character in real time. I was stunned, shocked, flabbergasted and mostly terrified, with nowhere to run. Friends made fun of me, others insulted and deserted me as I committed to finding out the truth about this matter.

Journey to Jesus, regales each and every one of these truths unfolding to me in real time. From the visitation of the force of evil to the glorious appearance of the Son of God one morning, my stubborn resistance to the Bible disintegrated as did every conceivable contrasting intellectual view on the matter. I learnt that there WAS a spiritual dimension which was more powerful than the physical one.
